There is a saying that those of Chinese heritage are descendants of the Dragon. Those of us who have crossed oceans to transport and transplant our art and lives into the concrete jungle have woven into our artistry an additional layer of sparkle that is crystalized from salt - sweat, tears, and the ocean. Our community of artists overseas would like to honor this journey by sharing the songs and sights that we have taken with us, and so we have titled the concert in an autobiographical way.
Look for us on the main stage of the Annual Asian Autumn Gourmet and Cultural Festival on August 25th. This is an admissions free, public festival that is hosted by our friends at the Alliance of Asian American Friends, and located on Main Street, between Northern Blvd and 38th Ave. The stage is located at 3702 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11354.
